St. Illtud’s Church.

This church is located at the site of the oldest college in the United Kingdom, Cor Tewdws,  which was founded c. 395 A.D. in honour of the Roman Emperor Theodosius 1. It was refounded by St. Illtud  c. 508 A.D., from whom it derives its name. Its beautiful interior and sensitive extension housing ancient Celtic stones make it a very special place to spend some time. Even the birds in the churchyard emanate a deep wisdom!
